Mr. Andries is an accomplished corporate brand manager. Through the creative application of a range of marketing techniques, he increases the brand perception of Balaton Group and its portfolio companies as part of a team approach focused on special situations and turnarounds. In addition to previous positions at IMedia Group Inc., where he led a creative team in managing and designing a home and lifestyle periodical with one of the largest distributions in the metro Toronto area, and LiNK Graphic Design, a Toronto-based boutique design and branding firm, Mr. Andries spent several years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly known as Price Waterhouse) where, among other accomplishments, he developed the firm’s client proposal standards including creating and standardizing its file transfer protocols, which resulted in improved bid desk success.
A Computer Graphics and Visual Communications graduate of Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, Mr. Andries is also a Toronto member of the Disaster Recovery Information Exchange (DRIE), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery Planning as integral components of an effective business strategy.
