David Walter
Accounting Manager
Mr. Walter is a Certified Management Accountant. He joined Balaton Group in the fall of 2007. Previously he was Senior Accountant at Corporate Assets Inc. In this capacity, he supervised accounts payable and was responsible for financial and government reporting as well as inventory tracking. Prior to this, Mr. Walter had a rewarding 9-year association with Citco Canada Inc. as Hedge Fund Accountant, Senior Hedge Fund Accountant and Accounting Supervisor, where he reviewed financial packages by the staff, oversaw the process of preparing tax reports for the client and worked on key portions of client hedge fund annual reports. A graduate of the University of Guelph, Mr. Walter has a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours
